We learn that a woman named Kristen Carpenter is Eileen's third child and she was killed in a car accident. Do you believe she's really dead?

[Anita]

No, my first reaction is that she survived and is hiding.

[Charlene]

I waffled on this question when reading. Is there a third bullet catcher to find his ideal woman waiting in the wings, or is she really dead? Another question I'm hoping to get the answer for in third book.

If Vanessa is the match, then it's possible Kristen is dead and we won't learn more about her. I have to admit that most of all -- I want to learn who the big shot is who is the triplets' biological father, and to have that mystery closed.

It's possible that she's dead but I'm leaning towards her being alive. The yet-to-be-named father only knows about one child so it's possible she is dead. But! Vanessa's father was murdered after having met with Eileen so it's also possible they now know about the other two.

Can't wait to find out.

Of course, we could just read the blurb for next months book and put ourselves out of our misery. But, what fun would that be!

[Robin]

It never crossed my mind that Kristen might be alive. That would be an interesting twist.

[Anita]

I will be more surprised if she is really dead.
