Thoughts and feelings about the book? (No spoilers allowed)

So what are your thoughts and feelings so far about Red Rising?

I really didn't like it at first. I almost put it down and stopped reading it, but I kept with it and now I am enjoying it. It was a little past half way that I finally got into it. I feel like I know where the story is going, but that hasn't dulled my interest.

When I first read it, I thought it was boring at first and I also wanted to stop. Thankfully I had to read all of it to get extra credit for school or I might not have known how great this trilogy was. This seems to be a common problem with most people who first read it, so when I recommend it I tend to tell people to stick with it even though it seems boring because it gets better. I think the next two books in the trilogy are even better and easier to get into, especially Golden Son.
