(view spoiler)[so we start on the weekday closest to the start of february (usually 30th or 31st of january) for term 1 & go until easter, when we have 2 weeks of holidays, and then we go back to school for another ten weeks and then another two week holiday and then back for term three until october holidays and then back for term four which is eleven weeks. then we get six weeks of summer holidays, maybe five and a half. we usually finish around the 16th of december
200 school days, 41 weeks, 4 terms. much suffering (hide spoiler)]

hi! i don't think we've talked before but i'm aubree, glad to have you here :)
and yes lol we kind of have a policy of using whoever you want within a basic age range, no pressure to use any one gender, race, or anything, just make the characters you want to make ^^

haha yeah I figured. I usually use one or two idols as fcs when I'm in a group and the majority of the people in the same group don't, so this is a fairly pleasant surprise. But it lets me know who's also a fan haha

i used to be on a different account? i've deleted/remade a couple of times on here so it might've been me, LOL. i don't think i remember your username, though?
and yeah! idols (esp kpop idols) are definitely the most accessible asian fcs out there, so it's nice to have them as options lol

i honestly don't have time/motivation to keep up with shows though? not while i have class anyway haha. i watched a kdrama over my winter break and another as it aired, but other than that it's too hard for me to commit to any show really

honestly i spent so much time saying that anime was stupid and assuming i wouldn't like it before even trying it, and then my sister made me watch fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood and it's got to be one of the best series i've ever watched (and now read)... such great art, well-developed characters, solid plot with good world-building and political intrigue...

i watched fma:b in dubs, and i know that everyone says that subs > dubs, but when you're watching for the first time it can be a weird adjustment if you're not used to subs yet? so that could help.

I watch FMA:b in dub too; it just sounded better in dub to me, but I don't remember hearing it in sub.
There are very anime that sounds better in dub than sub to me. Soul eater being one of them
