Book with no ISBN

I have a book that's been wrote and published privately by the author, there is only some copies and as not ISBN. Can I scan the cover and put as much information I can but without ISBN, or without ISBN I can't put it on Goodreads?

Books published without ISBNs can still be listed on Goodreads. Just leave the ISBN spot empty when creating the record.

However, "published privately" may be an issue. If that means only directly distributed to a handful of people, it probably does not constitute publication by Goodreads standards.

If it is (or was) actually for sale to the public, even if it was a limited run, that would count as published for Goodreads standards.
