Richelle Johnson | 7 comments Trying to find a book or series I read around the summer of 1986. I remember the main character was a male who had the ability to jump into other people's bodies. I can't remember if it was voluntary or involuntary. The point that stands out for me is that at some point he occupied the body of a 12 to 14 year old girl who was either Asian or maybe Native Alaskan. I remember something about him being on a ferry boat perhaps in Alaskan waters. I feel like it was a series of three to four books, or a novel that was broken up into that many parts, with him occupying different people in each part.

SBC (essbeecee) | 1594 comments Sounds interesting! Were the other characters aware that the man had taken over their bodies at the time?

Have you tried this list?

Richelle Johnson | 7 comments I don't believe the other characters were aware. it seems like the original personality was either dormant our absent. I'll check out your link.

Rachel | 1527 comments Any chance it could have been the books based on the TV series Quantum Leap? There's a list of them here: http://quantumleap.wikia.com/wiki/Books

They were early 90s rather than 80s though.

Great! Glad you found your book, Richelle. I clicked "edit" beside the topic header (on the desktop website) to move your request to a Solved folder.
