Fishface | 18924 comments As we know, Lizzie Borden and her sister Emma lived pretty high on the hog for the rest of their lives after their folks were murdered. But what factor determined whether or not they inherited that money?

A) Their ages when the elder Bordens died
B) Specifications in Abby Borden's will
C) The order in which the Bordens died
D) The outcome of Lizzie's murder trial
E) The outcome of the lawsuit filed by the other heirs

Fishface | 18924 comments C is a DING DING DING -- Rita is absolutely CORRECT! If Abby Borden had been killed after Andrew, the money would have gone to her heirs, not his -- apparently Andrew's daughters weren't even on the list in her will. And if that's not powerful circumstantial evidence of Lizzie's guilt, I don't know what would be. Lizzie paid for her legal counsel out of her inheritance, and you can see that it was money well spent.

And Rita continues to blaze out of control!!!
