Tuesday 4 August 09 - Thanks to all who attended Book Group meeting. A book that raised some good discussions, some people didn't enjoy the violence and abuse used in book though others thought it was mild. several members have read books by Minette Walters before so found the book easy to read knowing what to expect in a way, though others don't want to read any more by the author. Set in the wake of 9/11 it was thought it had the feel of the way people were felling about being attacked by terrorists at the time. So very much a 50/50 choice of book this month. Look forward to how The Moonstone compares with what the Thursday Book group thought. take care all.
