In the 80s I remember a book and there was a side character refered to as Meridith Meridith. Her bag was monogrammed with two or three Ms. I remember the main character thinking what if that was her middle name too and her name was Meridith Meridith Meridith.

It was probably pre teen and I think there was a dance class or gymnastics class that was a part of the story.
