Currently I have no plots in mind though - hbu?

Sorry I've taken a while to reply I've just been really stuck on any sort of ideas :|
Clearly my brain has turned off all creativity for the summer

I'm really down for anything though >.> tumblr just isn't helping me on my phone rn and that's usually where I find some food ideas haha

Like the musician/actor is taking a mini break and trying to assimilate himself into a college lifestyle and they knew each other before he made a name for himself?

Haha maybe the friend is lowkey holding a grudge/ salty bc he was the one left behind in all of this?

Mostly just name, age, appearance whatever else you want to sprinkle in there

(view spoiler)
- 20 years of age ; freshman in college- studying business management and art history ; missed a few years bc of family drama, so he's starting pretty late in the game ; lives off campus in the shittiest twenty first century place around![]()

Left Forearm tattoo:

21 years of age; musician/in a band, just got off of a huge tour to go to school; freshman in college, majoring in music industry with a minor in music theory/composition ; lives in a decent apartment off campus

Should we start at the very beginning of the year?
Maybe they have a class together second semester though? I'm not sure

Maybe something like music history or something totally out of the box XD?

Music history sounds good. Or maybe a class that one of them will struggle with so they'll have reasons to maybe talk to try and get help?

We could do math >.> Ryan would have to be pretty good at it. Maybe they have both together and help each other out in each?
Should we have a name for the college too?? OH what if it's a nice college just on the coast of the beach or someplace like the city ? Or both XD

I'm also very bad @ remembering any details from books XD

Ryan let out a deep sigh as he brought his final box up to his fourth floor apartment. Already the morning had been a series of trials and errors and he was glad to have finished part of his unpacking. He was sure he'd have to return home this weekend to grab the rest of his things and throw them into the back of his pick up truck- he was just hopeful by then that the elevator would no longer be out of commission. Not to say he didn't need the workout, but you try dragging a queen sized bed frame up four flights of stairs on your own and see how well that works out for you. Let's not mention the fact nobody else seemed to be taking up residence in the building at such an early time aside from the attendant who also didn't look so sure about the elevator being fixed so soon. He'd only been here a solid two hours and already he was beginning to regret signing the lease. Oh well, it was too late now. The place was his for the next eight months and he would just have to make do with what he could. Over and over he reminded himself that the place would be salvageable and feel like home in no time.
With his hands placed at his hips he did a final scan of the area. It was really just one large loft area that combined the bedroom and living room with a separate kitchen and bathroom. Good enough for him. Before he even had time to rip open one of his boxes he took a look at the time and cursed himself quietly. He had fifteen minutes before his first class. Earlier this week he had known it was a stupid idea to try to move in the same day that classes started, but there had been no other option in relation to his schedule and the fact the bastards before him wouldn't move out on their assigned due date. There wasn't much he could do about it now though. Instead he bared it and swung his backpack over his shoulders after grabbing his schedule and zipping it back up. Ryan ran through the door, forgetting to lock up entirely as he practically stomped back down the four flights of stairs and back outside. Taking in a deep breath he tried to calm down as he made a quick scan of the map and grabbed his bearings. Ruffis Hall, Music History, with Stine. Ryan didn't have time to regret signing up for the eight am class, though he was sure he would grumble about it through the rest of the year. He wasn't a morning person and yet he had scheduled all of his classes in the morning just so he'd have extra hours to work. No doubt he'd be dead on his feet by the end of each day. Taking off in a sprint he rounded three blocks before actually arriving on campus. Going off of his memory of the map was his first mistake as he found himself in front of a big building with wide open windows that read student center. Ryan threw his head back for a moment circling around before he took another brief look at the map. This time though he decided he wouldn't waste so much time in trying to figure out the streets or anything else. Out of instinct he passed a stranger, holding his hand up before he called out. "Is Ruffis hall this way?" Barely glancing up from the piece of paper in his hands he pointed in whatever odd direction in hopes that it was the right one.

He'd gotten this apartment just a couple weeks ago, right after his last tour with his band ended. It was a decently large space with two bedrooms, one of which already having been converted into a music space for him since that was something he wouldn't be able to live without.
Cody grabbed his backpack and his schedule from the counter, leaving his apartment. He locked the door and walked the mile to campus, still waking up. He had looked over the map earlier and had figured out how to get to his first class which was Music History, taught by Stine. Cody walked onto the campus and started toward the Ruffis Hall when he saw a person hold their hand out and ask where it was. "No. Not quite. It's this way. I'm heading there too." He told them, tilting his head and studying their face. They looked oddly familiar and yet he couldn't figure out who it was.
(Sorry if my replies aren't as long or well constructed. I'm still learning how to write lots of details. If they ever get too short for your preference, let me know and I'll try to fix them.)

"I only barely know the way so hopefully I won't get us lost." Cody remarked. "I've got music history with Stine. What about you?" He asked, glancing over at him occasionally as they walked, trying to figure out who he was. "Alright, I'm sorry if I'm being impolite but have you and I met before. Because I swear you look familiar... Ryan?" He guessed softly as he finally put the name to the face. Cody hoped he wasn't wrong, guessing that this person was his best friend from a forever ago when they were in reality just some stranger.

Cody bit his lip when Ryan answered. "I'm sorry." He mumbled quietly, knowing that it was entirely his fault that they had lost touch and everything else that had come between them. "After classes are done today or something, can we maybe catch up?" He asked hesitantly, his nerves showing through with the way he bit his lip and messed with the end of his hoodie sleeve. After all, those were the same habits that he had always had when he was younger too, they'd never gone away.
He shook his head slightly and looked around as they neared the building that their class was in, trying to remember the way and the surroundings so he wouldn't need a map in the future.
