Hacen | 883 comments I’m in if you’re still reading Barry

Robyn-Lee Samuels (thewritespace) | 26 comments Yeay I can listen to this again. Took a break because I had no idea what was going on. So many new characters...

Barry (boprawira) | 1212 comments Hi Hacen. I wanna finish up the Heroes first, then maybe I’ll start this one. Probably gonna take this one to my summer vacation in mid June. If you wanna start, please go ahead 🙂.

Barry (boprawira) | 1212 comments Hi Hacen. I’m starting this tonight.

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments Just in case anyone wants to combine this with A Dance with Dragons (many parts are happened in parallel), the combined reading order can be seen here: http://afeastwithdragons.com/

K I’m halfway through but I’m not in any hurry so just post your thoughts and I’ll reply 😁

I’ve been doing the combined reading using Boiled Leathers recommended order

Barry (boprawira) | 1212 comments Hmm I didn’t bring my copy of aDance with Dragons along with me ... do you really need to follow the recommended order to understand what’s going on?

Hacen | 883 comments No but both books have things taking place at the same time so it’s a smoother read combined BUT if this is your first time then maybe stick to reading them individually.

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments I used the Boiled Leather one for reread. For first read, both seem to be recommended.

Barry (boprawira) | 1212 comments Currently on page 207 on Kraken’s Daughter

So far pretty straightforward continuation of the previous book. Missing (view spoiler) Maybe reading it according to the recommended order would be perfect, but I don’t feel like I’m missing stuff so far.

Probably the weakest book in the series so far, just because there are far fewer battles and deaths. Especially after what happened in the previous book. Some intriguing future plot lines for several characters to set up for future events.

I’m definitely looking forward to ADWD, as we’ll get to see my fave characters again.
