Fishface The Confessions of Nat Turner is a well-known one.
I loved, loved, loved Two Thousand Seasons.
The Book of Night Women is a good one.
I've heard good things about The Good Lord Bird.
Island Beneath the Sea is based on the only successful slave revolt in history.
Another on that topic is All Souls' Rising.
For a one-man slave revolt, try I, Dred Scott: A Fictional Slave Narrative Based on the Life and Legal Precedent of Dred Scott.

Keith | 224 comments Flashman and the Angel of the Lord is an irreverent, fictionalized depiction of John Brown's attempted slave revolt.
