Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda

At what point did you "figure out" Blue's identity? - Caution may contain spoilers
After he kept showing up in the same places as Simon, I figured it out but I had no clue before then.
I honestly thought that Blue was either Cal or Bram and i got worried when Simon thought it was Martin, because i was like no they CANT be together. But when i figured out who Blue was i couldn't stop smiling :)
At first, I was thinking that Blue was Martin, and I really didn't want that to be the case! Then I thought it was Bram or Cal and would have been happy with either. When I finally got conformation that Blue was who I thought he was, I was really happy :)
I had NO CLUE until Simon made the comment about Bram's hands on the Tilt-A-Whirl that was similar to what he had said about them in the classroom when he gave Bram his test back.
At the first time he called him cute Bram. But I was not totally convinsed, just suspicious. But after the 100 points on the essay, it was a match. :)

It was very cool to know more than the narrator at that point. (or at least suspect that I did)
There was this scene where Bram was looking all cute and adorable and shy and I'm just like: that's him. It's Blue and I'm right.
Ajay wrote: "I kind of figured it out when Bram scored 100 in that english test."I, also, figured it out at this point in the book. Simon and Blue kept emphasizing good grammar throughout their emails; so, when Bram was one of the only students to get a 100 on the English test, I was like "Yup! That's him!"
For me it was chapter 2 when I noticed his e-mail was "bluegreen118@gmail.com" because just a page before Simon introduced him so I freshly remember that his last name was Greenfeld, and I just think that that couldn't be a coincident.
I was being a stupid shit and I went through the end of the book when I just started reading it. I didn't fully spoiled it for myself but I saw Bram's name at the end, and reading the book knowing his name was in the last few chapters, I supspected it was Bram. However, I think I was sure when Bram reacted the way he did when Simon tried to get him together with Leah (was it Leah?). He was just so cute. It's even cuter knowing that Bram at that point might have already known it was Simon.
Well, I kinda just figured it out. I knew it wasn't Cal, or the blackmailer or his brother (because of the age, however was considering him), and then Bram was always awkwardly there.
I never suspected Martin, and I was stuck between Cal and Bram until the English grade scene. I can't say that I was 100% positive at that point, but I was pretty confident. Cal became too obvious an answer after that, as well... as if the author wanted you to think that it was Cal.
I was fully shocked when the author revealed. When I reread the book I realized how obvious Bram was.
Tbh I never figured it out and I was freaking out just like Simon over all the possibilities. It's funny because I first read this book ages ago and I ran across it in a library again like a year ago and decided to give it a chance, not remembering that I'd already read it. I figured it out a few pages in, but I still had no recollection of the ending whatsoever, so I got to relive that emotional roller-coaster all over again. Thank you.
I found out who Blue was when the author told us. I had speculations on who Blue was but I didn't suspect Bram.

yeah, I discoreved at this point too, and then Bram was bright red when he talked to Simon one time and I was like, YUP I´M SHERLOCK HOLMES AND HERCULE POIROT.
Pretty early on. Cal was too obvious a choice to be Blue, so then I started thinking it had to be one of the other guys and well when they interacted in English class I thought it had to be Bram.

I never found out, I kept guessing wrong. After a while I firmly believed it was Martin until the very end.
I never thought it was Martin; that seemed too predictable and didn't make sense with the blackmailing. I never assumed Bram either though, he just wasn't a central-enough character that I knew well enough to make those assumptions. I was legitimately worried it was a Catfish. I was for sure that it would be some mean prank on the gay kid, and that the moral of the story would be to say "F*ck the haters" and move on. I was really worried we wouldn't get a love story... I'm so glad I was wrong.
Love this books. Love the story. It isn't a serieus book, i mean it is a serieus subject but it's wrote in a fun way. Can't wait to see the movie too. But first you need to read the book!
I spoiled it for myself by following people on twitter who tweet spoilers before reading it myself, but had I not been stupid and done that I probably would've figured it out when they started bringing Bram into the narrative more. For example, when they talked about him at soccer tryouts or how Simon thought he liked Leah!
The first time Simon called him cute I had a suspicion, but knew for sure when Blue said he shared a name with a president!
Throughout the book I was always stuck between Cal and Bram, but then Cal eventually became TOO obvious to be blue. Martin mentioned his brother, but that didn't make sense because he was older and it was stated that Simon and Blue were the same age. Martin also didn't make any sense, so eventually I just figured it was Bram by the way the author described his interactions with Simon. I was so happy at the end when it was finally revealed, I couldn't stop smiling the entire time!!!
oh man this was so fun to figure out the author kept on dropping hints as to why it was Bram,, for exampleeee when Bram got that perfect score in an English test, the fact that he doesn't talk at lunch was because Simon was there and he gets nervous around cute boys aka Simon, ooooh also one of my favourites was when at lunch when Leah storms off and Garrett looks at Bram and Bram bites his lip and Simon says smth like 'ask her out already' and Bram blushesss but not bc Simon has found out that he likes Leah but because Simon is talking to him and he likes Simoonnn!!! Honestly i had too much fun gathering all the clues so i kinda knew it would be Bram and he was my first guess as to who it would be bc although the author didn't make him a main character she did mention him and his actions quite a lot so yeah :)
Throughout the book i knew it wasnt Cal because of how obvious it would've been, but when he met Bram and described Bram i had a big feeling it was him.
I had a lot of guys in mind (by that I mean like 2) but I would never have guessed Bram. I enjoyed trying to be a detective and figuring it out even though I was wrong.
It was when they were talking about how Blue gets awkward with cute boys. He's always quite Simon, and I thought maybe he finds Simon cute lol. Then that English class finally makes sense, as to why that has to be narrated.
Maya wrote: "I spoiled it for myself :( but before I did, I thought it was Cal or maybe even Nick."At least you didn't accidentally spoil it for someone else like I did :(
I knew it wasn't Cal cause Cal was at the party, and I had a feeling it wasn't Nick and I knew it wasn't Monkey's Asshole, so I had no idea lmao
Blue's identity was pretty obvious. I knew it was Bram before I was 100 pages in. Some of my smartest friends didn't suspect him at all, so don't feel bad if you didn't think it was Bram either.

I had an inkling early on that it was who it actually turned out to be but then I dismissed him because of the reactions to Simon's 5 points.
But then over morning coffee I saw things from a different perspective and got that endorphin rush you get when you have a really good moment of epiphany.
