Unexpected Stories
Both the female and male Hao are described as blindingly beautiful...and blue. The book also contains a previously unpublished short story by Octavia Butler.
For District 13 I read Divergent
Beatrice and the other Divergents are definitely rebellious.
District 2 trains peacekeepers.
I read Natchez Burning
(Huge book...over 700 pages but well worth the time. Some graphic violence.)
There are police, sheriffs, deputies and FBI Agents in this story.
District 7 produces lumber. I read a paperback book for this one.
An Appetite for Murder
I am now 6 of 6 with the addition of these books. Thanks for a fun challenge.

District 3 makes electronics- main character a robot

this puts me at 12

District 11: District 11 is an agricultural district and Rue, a young herbalist, originated here. Read a book where a young person dies OR read a book where an herbalist saves someone from dying.

For district 7 I want to use: Harzblut instead. It takes partly place in the Harz, a beautiful forest area in Germany. And it is a real (paper) book (that took some getting used to, after reading loads of books on my ereader...).
So now I'm: 10/10. But there is still one month left, maybe I'll get the other 4 as well...?

9/14
District 6: District 6 is the hub of transportation. Read a book written by an author from a different country OR read a book that takes place in a real location you could visit.

The Capitol: The capitol is filled with beautiful extravagant people. Read a book with “beauty” in the title OR read a book where the main character is said to be extraordinarily beautiful. 8/4
District 13: District 13 is a rebellious district that specialized in nuclear technology. Read a book centered around a nuclear disaster OR read a book where the main character is rebellious. This might be a bit of a stretch but I just finished In Cold Blood.
