please correct the page number for this edition

I have just finished Losing Battles by Eudora Welty, ISBN
9780679728825. The book has 436 pages, not 448 shown in the book's description.

I also was wondering why there are 2 different ISBN numbers shown for this book at that listing. I initially tried to create a separate book but was advised that my ISBN already existed. Then I saw that there is the second number shown for this edition. Perhaps there are 2 books with different page counts? My book does have this cover.

Confirmed with WorldCat and changed.

Sue, are you referring to ISBN 10 & ISBN 13? If so, ISBN 10 was created first, but they were running out of numbers so they created ISBN 13. Just like phone numbers etc.

Each book that is created at this time has the 2 numbers, eventually they will only have the ISBN 13 numbers.

OK. I didn't know that. My book has the ISBN 13 which is shown for that book but not the 448 pages, which is why I was confused.
