Hello self-published authors. I'm planning to publish through Lightning Source (for print version) and Amazon (for digital). How does that work, if my LS account will provide a print version of my book to Amazon, but my Create Space account will provide the digital version? I've heard LS is a better printer than CS, and have decided to go with them for that. But I'm confused as to how the two Amazon connections work. Please help!

Check on whether or not it is true that book stores will not buy CreateSpace books because CS does not allow returns. I was going to try CS years ago but gave it up for the digital route. Now I have THE DARK JOURNEYS TRILOGY on Amazon-Kindle.

I'm fairly sure that Amazon uses LS for printing, at least with the cream paper option. Digital is done through a separate Amazon account: Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). You can find the link at the bottom of any Amazon page.

Createspace/Amazon using LS for printing has not been my experience. You can tell by the glue. LS uses clear/white glue and CS uses brown. All of the copies I've seen of my books ordered from CS have brown glue.
