WHAT?!?
I Think it is Time To Reveal What I Know xD
Leigh Bardugo Said That if We Read The Darkling's Point of View.He Would NOT Seem Like a Villain
Leigh Bardugo,The Author Has Said That She Has Written Darkling Pov.She is Apparently Going To Share It After The Trilogy is Over
This Is What Leigh Bardugo Said
Hi Leigh! You mentioned in an interview that you have a different relationship with the Darkling than your fans do, because you know all of his secrets. Will there come a time in Ruin and Rising that your audience will know some of those secrets, too? Will we get to glimpse his true intentions and motivations?
Thank you!
You will certainly know a lot more AFTER Ruin and Rising. I can’t really say more than that.
I can tell you that I’ve written Darkling POV, but I’m still debating whether or not to release it.
Leigh Bardugo said that she has written in the Darkling’s POV but, if she were to release something like that, it would be after the series ended. She wants the readers to guess the characters’ intentions right along with Alina.

Natalie wrote: "I wonder if we will see any of the people who were in S&B in the new one."
I Wonder!
I Wonder!

I was curious to find out if some of you had the same sensation I had.
When I read Shadow and Bone, I kept on thinking 'This is great, amazing, but...but there are so many directions this could go, so many excitingly infinite possibilities, choices that could change the entire balance of the story.' And my mind kept on whirling around these scenarios- as it never did before with any book I read. And now I still wonder why? What makes Leigh's world so different from the other stories I've read so far (where I didn't have this OCD behavior of wishing things to take different turns) Is it the originality of her world? Her strong characters? I still don't know, but I got this flash the other day-remembering those albeit sometimes very tacky but oh so fun 'choose your own adventure books' or 'gamebooks' I used to read when I was a kid- and I couldn't stop myself from wondering whether some of you would agree that it would be interesting to have the Grisha Trilogy worked out in such a way that we-as readers- could choose the direction in which it would go?
It would be like a very sophisticated Gamebook. Jeez! I really hope I'm not jotting down sacrilege here- I'm not trying to offend anyone, and I'm certainly not criticizing Leigh's work- which I really admire.
I for one, think the ending is correct, only I would have preferred the Darkling to have a descendant- for example Alina carrying his child who would then be brought up by Mal and Alina- or even Misha being his child. A little girl, or boy who could play with shadows and summon light. Life, after death. Sigh. I'm letting myself go here. Cheers to all. It's a relief to be able to share my thoughts with other fans of this magical trilogy. I'm happy to have heard that news about the possibility of there being a Darkling's POV.

Just saying what if he isn't dead....

Just saying what if he isn't dead...."
The shadows are supposed to protect the Darkling.I doubt that he's dead,he's an amazing actor I'll give him that credit. ;)
