Vega_girl | 6624 comments I finished Mercy F*uck by K.S. Adkins and it was really good,....however there were so many I dont know what you call them but errors.....like she ment to write one word and the computer wrote a different word....you know what I mean??? Nothing spelled wrong just the wrong word in the wrong place......and my problem is....My mind does not skip over those things!!! I love the flow of reading and getting lost, but everytime there is an error it literally feels like my brain slams into a wall!!!

That happens to me too! I even noticed one error in It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover which you know went through extensive editing and I was like "how did they miss that?" I don't remember the error specifically, but just the fact that it bugged me. I think it is a sign ladies that we should be paid to edit books! Our dream job!

Grace (sillymssunshine) | 333 comments Ok help me, ladies. I just got It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover from the library, along with a couple light ones I should get to before going on vacation. Question is: is CoHo's book going to break me? I'm scared. I don't want to be an emotional wreck going on vacation!

That's a tough one, but I would read it last. It is an emotional read, and this book will definitely affect you.

I would definitely read It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover last just in case you can't move on from it!

On another note, I am frustrated because the last two novels I read were the first in a series and both ended with a cliff hanger wanting me to grab the next novel, but I can't read the next one yet because I have books to read before they go back to the library, books to read that I have borrowed, books to read for my challenges....AHHH! Book problems are real!

I would read that one last. It's pretty emotional and I needed time to really process this one.

This is a neat little quiz about your reading personality...I got Starry Eyed Romantic (unsurprisingly)...if anyone else does it, I'd like to know what you were.

It also has a link to books that fit your reading personality after you take the quiz. I don't know about the list but oh well!

To those that have JLA's Covenant series:

Should I read Daimon (Covenant, #0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout before I read Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout ?

message 2977: by Erika (last edited Aug 15, 2016 06:26PM) (new)

Erika | 9482 comments So I'm reading my book and as I read the lines below I almost peed my pants:

“She was in the process of shutting me out when I walked her into my living room, tore her wet top off and attempted to get her bra thing off. “The fuck is this thing?” I ask appalled when it wouldn’t budge.
“Spanx,” she actually giggled and when she saw I was lost she explained, “It’s a type of bra.”
“This is no bra, this is…Fuck, I don’t know what this is.” (Mercy F*ck)

Girl problems lol

I am totally in awe and over whelmed by such dedicated writers.

I did read Daimon before reading Half-Blood. I am happy that I did, because I had a bit more background information before the whole story started in Half-Blood. I feel it helped me get into the story better.

Thanks guys! I will read Daimon (Covenant, #0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout first!

Our school starts next week (Tuesday for me and Thursday for my kids). Blahh! Another school year! I'm more anxious for my kiddos this year than I have ever been, but that's just part of me being an overbearing paranoid mama! I'm relishing this next week and binge reading everything I can get my hands on!
