Yea, and she promised to try to write more and I think the more we comment the more she wants to write. I love that about her, she really cares about her fans and wants to make them happy.

So for all of you that know me, was the absolute worse for me. I hated it and therefore never went to see the movies at the theaters. I did however see them when they were on HBO. SO I again am not going to see this last one and was going to wait for it but (now this is a spoiler for those of you who have not seen the movie) (view spoiler)[ my niece informed me that Trish does not die in the end. So here is where I am torn. That is exactly why I didn't like this book, she died and who wants that? Not me!!! I did however go to the authors page and she explains why Trish dies and it makes sense. It's true to her character. This is my problem, while I hate the ending I am a reader first and I feel movies should stay true to the book. I feel like this movie is for the audience that has not read the book. I feel your pain, Erika! There was so much hype surrounding the whole Divergent series following the success of the Hunger Games movie, so I read the first one, which I thought was, on all counts, subpar. And because I'm stubborn and wanted to read the trilogy, I started Insurgent but ended up DNF'ing it a couple of chapters in. I rarely DNF books, but it was torture to get through it! I saw bits and pieces of Divergent on the plane and didn't even bother with the second one...

While this was also not a favorite of mine...it did open my eyes to the fact the no character is ever truly "safe".....that being, what your neice says really ticks me off because like it or not...a movie shouldn'tbe able to change big plot scenes!!! That particular one was crucial to how the whole series ends!!! I absolutely hate when aovie "claims" to be a book and then is NOTHING like it......i.e. D.U.F.F....great movie......but not even close to the book......

I agree! Plus, I am one of the few who loved the ending...probably because I hated the first 2/3 of it and wanted to throw the book at the wall.

I also saw Robin Benway, Nicola Yoon, Julie Buxbaum, and Jason Reynolds on a panel. It's so interesting to hear what inspired their books! Today unleashed the nerdy fangirl in me!
