I love that we all have different taste!! Like I did NOT like The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner so that would be a good one for someone!

message 1103: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments I think that one would be a good one for me. I've been wanting to but have not read it based on the fact that you didn't like it, lol

message 1104: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments For me it would be Paper Towns by John Green I gave it 1*

There's another one I rated the same, the only thing is it is an Adult Book.

Chris K. | 1404 comments oh Barb . You didn't like The Maze Runner ..I actually loved it

message 1106: by Chris (new)

Chris K. | 1404 comments And If anybody looking for a bad reviewed book . mine would be Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn

No not at all, the only thing we keep YA at all times is the weekly read. Whatever genre you want is fine.

Really??? OMG, it was a fave of mine.

Vega_girl | 6624 comments Hahaha!!! See different tastes, for me Maze Runner didn't have enough romance..... no matter what genre I read there has to be a love interest....by the time something good happened I didn't even care!!! That's why I think it's a great pick for someone because I know I am in the minority....heck...they made it a movie...LOL!!

But The idea and action griped me enough to love it ^_^

Your favorite Erika How did you even continue to read it , I couldn't -_- ... I disliked both characters

message 1113: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments Well Chris it's not a top ten fave of mine but I loved the book of dares. The adventure was so fun. But what I loved most was Lilys quirkiness.

message 1114: by Vega_girl (new)

Vega_girl | 6624 comments Is it blond or blonde?????

The fact that I can put my book down to ponder this query does not bode well.......

Kat L (k4atk4) | 231 comments Vega_girl wrote: "Is it blond or blonde?????

I think that both are correct although ... When describing a WOMAN with fair hair you should use BLONDE (ex. That woman is a blonde.), whereas when describing a MALE you should use BLOND (That man is a blond.)

If you are using it as an adjective you should use simply blond (ex. That blond woman is pretty.)

Both ways of spelling the word are correct in all cases, my examples aare just the "more correct" way of using them.

Go with Liam! He doesn't have a bad bone in his body! Definitely a "beta male" as opposed to the "alpha male"

message 1140: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments So... I'm sooo tired of series that are kind of stand alones. I wish there was a way for a reader to know right away. If I have to read all the books to get one complete story or I can pick and choose what I read!!!! I mean it's kinda nice that you get a peek at previous characters but I want to know do I need to buy all the books, am I getting myself into a cliifhanger situation. So authors or goodreads please find a way to distinguish. Thank you!!!

Strongly agree with you here!!! To be honest I'm more of a standalone reader, because I hate waiting for another book to come out and then when it does I feel like I have to read the first book again, because I feel like I forget some of it. So books that are continued series, but really could be read as a standalone need to be noted. I would read a lot more of them if I knew I could choose the one I want to read and not have to read all of them.

message 1143: by Chris (new)

Chris K. | 1404 comments girls ..Sometimes there are reviews that show if this book can be read as a standalone or not

message 1144: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments I know, but I'd like a clearer way to know. I don't always read reviews.

Chris so agree about having to reread a book after the next book is out. That is why I always aim to read a series when ALL the books have been released!

message 1145: by Vega_girl (new)

Vega_girl | 6624 comments I'm with Erika. I hate when I get a book thinking it's a stand alone then to be left hanging......I love reading series' but I like to know that they that before.....I like to own them all before I start one too!!
