Lorrie Moore's stories - hit and miss?

Does anyone else find Lorrie Moore's short stories incredibly hit and miss? Some of them I adore and want to re-read and savour, others I find a real struggle to read and ultimately dissatisfying and instantly forgettable. What are your favourites/least favourite?

Yes, I thought exactly the same thing but this is the first book I have read of hers. Very mixed feelings yet some wonderful passages.

The love story between the dying man and the almost over the hill rocker chick is the one that sticks with me.

I agree, a few especially the last two, I think, seemed like chapters from a book, or not quite finished.
