This one had pretty solid SF writing in it. The 400 mile ship stuck at a black hole on one end and the people at the other end. And the feels. Poor Bill!

Any faults I find in this season are more than made up for by how solid this Tardis crew is.

Bill and Nordole both started as types and very quickly became characters.
Might be my favorite Tardis crew of newWho.
