Sarah B. (bookishlyeverafter) | 62 comments I have one question! If someone guesses the book you are thinking of correctly and have not read the book, what happens if we do not have a way of accessing that certain book? Such as the library does not own it or money is tight. Is it okay to just ask for another number by chance?

Thanks! :)

Yes. I would prefer it if players were able to read the book, but it's okay to just choose another number if they can't access it. :)

Are re-reads aloud?

Yes! You can reread books for this challenge. :)

Trinity Hey Anna :) I just now realized that there was never an update to my thread. I'm still not sure what to read for my book, this was the clue:

Clue Number One: I'm thinking of a book with a hand-written font; read a book with a hand-written font.

I can't find anything in the listopias to read for that. What exactly do you mean by hand-written font?

Sorry! I've been sick the past couple of days. By a hand-written font, I basically mean anything that isn't a text that you would use on a computer. More like something that a person would write.

Here are some examples: To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #1) by Jenny Han , Hello, Sunshine by Leila Howland , There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake , and Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Some examples of what won't work: Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard , Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth , Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3) by Stephanie Perkins , and Black Widow Forever Red (Black Widow, #1) by Margaret Stohl

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) For covers and things like 'read a book with a six in the final page count'. Does it have to be the edition you read or can you use any edition?

The edition that you read is preferred, but I'm not super picky. ;)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I'm finally going to do this one but I'm confused...once again! LOL I looked at others' threads and what I don't understand is why do we read one book but guess another title as the one you're thinking of? I'm supposed to read any book I want and after I read it guess another book as the one you're thinking of? That's what it looks like but that doesn't make sense to me.

So, for every round I will be giving you clues as to what book I'm thinking of. It could be a clue about what the cover looks like, when it was published, the plot, no matter what they are they will all lead to the correct book. For every clue there will be a task to go with it. For example:

Clue Number One: I'm thinking of a book with a black cover; read a book with a black cover.

So, you would need to read a book with a black cover. Then you would make a guess as to what you think the book is. The more clues you get, the more you will narrow down what the book is. Make more sense?

Abby H If we have already read the book that was the answer to the clues, do we still need to post in the guess thread, even if we're just asking for the next clue?

It would be nice but it's not absolutely necessary.

Anna (Adventures with a Book Nerd) (bookish_anna) Like a book that has a pattern on the cover. Think stripes, poka-dots, animal print, checkered, things like that.

Yes! I'll count that. :)
