Operation Underpants question

Well that sucks! I loved the book until the end......and then a dead end. I HATE books that leave readers hanging and with no indecation if or when a sequel will beconing out. Releasea series with the same characters or just forget it. The ending destroyed the whole book for me which took hours to read,
