My favorite film series are James Bond and Godzilla.

My name is Leigh Ann. I'm 27 years of age, have a BA in Art (graphic design) and journalism. I work for a Newspaper and make stories look pretty on paper.
Reading has been such a huge part of my life. My best friend really lit the reading fire in me when we were in middle school and I've been obsessed ever since.
There isn't really a specific genre that I prefer over others, I love reading new things and exploring new books worlds.
I'm excited to be here! :)

My name is Alex, I'm 17 and I'm from Malta. I'm studying English & French. I'm just about to start reading Shelley's "Frankenstein", and the last book I finished was Madeline Miller's "The Song of Achilles" (I absolutely adored it! (´• ω •`) ♡ )

Hi everyone! My name is Sean, although, as an Amazon refugee, I was known as '4thEarl'.
I really could not name my favorite book, film or musical artist/band because it all depends what mood I am in? Perhaps the mood I find myself in is dictated by the book/film/music I am currently enjoying? I'm a keen photographer, but I'm somewhat lazy about it! In fact, I could apply that logic to a lot of things!

Hello Alex!
'Frankenstein' is a truly fantastic classic novel, especially if you have a vivid imagination like mine? I'm not sure if you know or if it's in the introduction, but apparently the idea for 'Frankenstein' came to Shelley after the baby she gave birth to, sadly died. She placed the baby in front of the fire and apparently, the baby looked as if it may just wake up! Sad, eh?
Anyway, enjoy the book!

My name is Sarah. I'm 17 and I'm from Dublin, Ireland. I'm currently in my final year of secondary school. I'm not reading anything at the moment but I've just ordered a copy of The Wrath and the Dawn by Renée Ahdieh, so I'll be reading that next. The most recent addition to my list of favourite movies is Call Me By Your Name which I watched a few weeks ago and absolutely loved.

I'm Sarah (sayrawww). ASL? 28/F/Austin, TX
I've been a member of Goodreads for a few years or so, however this is the first group that I've ever joined. I was involved in a book club, Liquorature, with two of my closest girlfriends and it was my most precious monthly treasure, but unfortunately we have slowly dispersed, and I've been looking to fill my gaping heart hole ever since! I love discussing literature and film, and I think this group will be the perfect fit! I studied film in school and earned an associates degree in RTF-Radio-Television-Film, and now, five long years later, I'm finally starting school again this May to complete my Bachelors degree. However, I've changed career passions and I have changed my degree plan..I have never lost passion for creating, watching, or discussing film though, and I am very much looking forward to discussing current reads, TV/ movies, and all the feels. :-)

I’m Cecilia, currently in Boston. I’ve always loved reading, but have been getting addicted to forcing myself to read a book once I see it’s being made into a movie or tv show I want to see. It’s always fun to see what’s different between the two. Unfortunately, most of my friends only ever see the movie so I’m left discussing the differences alone! Haha.
I have my BA in English Literature & Political Science & my masters in Law & Public Policy. So obviously, I love reading. I tend to gravitate towards depressing fiction, music memoirs, and thrillers. I’ve been out of school for a couple years & realize I miss discussing what I’m reading, so I figured I’d give this a shot. Oh & I’m 28.

I love watching movies and reading books (what a shock hohoho)
I'd love to discuss the difference between book and movie/tv show adaptations of books i'm in into with y'all.

Fun fact, instead of going on FB and watching TV I have stopped doing both (since about 2/17/18) and with my spare time I have read 32 books!!
Other fun fact: I kind of hoard books

I'm Ynon,
I'm 15 , Israeli and I've loved reading since I remember myself. I love fantasy books that have complex worlds( currently in love with the dark tower) and comedy books. just discovered goodreads and hope to meet some good people!

I'm Laura, I'm 24, I'm a UI designer and I live in Ireland. I hope to go back to college soon to get a History degree and work as a museum curator. I'm very introverted and find it hard to make new friends. I'm vegan and an animal activist. I also play guitar and cello for 12 years :)
I absolutely adore reading, mainly YA, Fantasy and Historical Fiction / Non-Fiction. I look forward to being part of this group! :)

I haven't always been a fast reader, more of a methodical one. But I love to read and watch movies a lot. I am currently reading a book called Girls Who Code and I'm also reading George's Secret Key To The Universe by Stephen Hawking and Lucy Hawking. I was interested in this group because I think it might help get my reading back up to speed.

I don't really have a favourite genre as such, I'm willing to try anything! But what I do enjoy is good characters and 'art' that shines a light or reflects how we are as people. (Btw, I think movies and book qualify as art.)
Cheers to all!

Though I like to explore all the genres, I love reading the Classics, a lot of Sci-fi, a little bit of Thriller and a few Biographical stories. Hoping to have meaningful discussions on this forum!
