David (waelse1) | 25 comments Good book, it felt old-fashioned comparing it to the Niven-Pournelle classic Lucifer's Hammer (which also feels a bit dated now) but has its own attractions. Sad story, the authors pull no punches on the destruction of Earth. Science a bit behind but understandable since it was written in 1932.

Enjoy books showing Earth destroyed from space, including The Last Policeman series. This one has very good characters and tells a very dramatic story, will have to check out the sequel.

David (thegameiam) | 1 comments I enjoyed it. I particularly liked how taut the book was: Nary a wasted scene, and it zipped along at 192 pages.
