Most students dont actually know what they want to go into in their first year or two, or change their major at least once. Heck, I know a junior who still hasn't declared her major. I'd talk with your advisor and see if it can be worked so you can take different classes that interest you next semester. They would likely still meet some requirements, but it could let you branch out and play around a bit to find out more of what you actually enjoy and want to do. Other option is to look into an internship you can take in the field you are going into, that way you can see the job and talk to people who work in it. Even if it's an unpaid volunteer internship (which is realistically what you're likely to find just because you're only a freshman and some internships are only open to juniors/seniors) it can still be valuable. That is also something else which an advisor can help with.
