i need a new phone bc my current phone barely holds battery but tbh it's not in that bad of shape, its just mostly the fact that i want a new phone bc mine is old and dingy yknow? normally i wouldn't think twice about upgrading and would seal the deal and get the phhone bc its a good sale and stuff but the thing is, i'm on a family plan with my parents, and if i upgrade to a lease then they have to get leases too, which sucks, because they won't do it, which prevents me from getting a new phone too

Just get a decent android instead? My husband managed to pick up an S8 for me pretty cheap and then you can avoid a lease and just change phones if your provider will allow you to. (PS I'm totally biased against iPhones. They are all aboard the idea of planned obsolescence and it totally sucks. Though admittedly I had an iphone 4 years ago and really liked it, but still.
