I've thought about looking into that series but I haven't even bothered reading the description. XD is it steampunk?

yep, it’s steampunk. it’s a part of the Shadowhunter chronicles (it’s the prequel to TMI) but i liked it better than the actual TMI books. it’s really... oh gosh. I don’t know how to even explain it. long story short, i read the last book on a tuesday my freshman year of high school, and i cried in class. the entire second half is just... gah. it was so emotional.

1) i’m fine, alive, and a failed chem student probably
2) i officially have an address where people can send me packages (bc K and C want to send me xmas presents and they can’t bc i live at home still) through the university so i’m REALLY excited about that!
3) RP’s are on a temporary hold... i’ve got 2 finals left which should be fairly easy but i still want to spend some time reviewing so i don’t flop like i did on my chem exam

i’m also kind of excited bc my sister and her husband are doing their one year anniversary vacation and they’re leaving today. they’re going island hopping in the Caribbean. so they told me they’re getting me my xmas presents one from every island they go to. so i’m excited. and i’m also excited bc my sister takes a lot of pictures and she said she’s going to send me all of them whenever she finds an island spot with wifi. i’ve never been anywhere tropical like that so i’m excited to see. they’re doing 4 islands but i only remember 2 of them.. half moon cay (that one we see on pinterest all the time) and the dominican republic... theyll be gone for a week which will be a nice break for them.
her husband also works for my dad. so if my dad’s place gets busy while he’s gone, i’ll go work in his place and make some extra cash so i can buy myself that ipad.. i want the 32 gb 6th gen one, which isn’t really that expensive but i don’t have a job rn so 🤷‍♂️
i also am going to visit Misha next weekend!!

also my history notes are going really well. i fall asleep every day in class but he posts the powerpoints on canvas. and i have the textbook. so i’m kind of just going along with it and i feel like i didn’t miss anything from my naps.

i know that a lot of people in my class didn’t buy the textbook and the professor is highkey boring and monotone so i just set up a google doc with all of the exam topics and i’m putting my notes in there. i sent out a message to the whole class (except the professor) on canvas with the link to edit. so people can either add to the notes where i’m missing things, or just study off of them because literally nobody actually pays attention in lecture.

update on Meesh-
she’s still a smol kitten blob who sleeps most of the day and drinks her mummy’s milk. she’s not even close to being weaned yet, but that’s okay. i’m patient! she can take all the time she needs. my dad was hoping we’d have her for christmas but she needs to stay with her mommy and brother right now. i’m going to see her next week, where she’ll hopefully be moreno playful and active. she’s at FE’s house (bc her mommy kitty is FE’s kitty) and she sends me pictures of her every day. she’s such a cutie. her coloring is still changing too, i googled it and ragdoll kittens are born all white but change color later on. right now she’s got orange ears, orange stripes on her tail, and she’s like a beige-y color.
she’s such a chubbster and i LOVE IT.

Btw when you're studying, go to Quizlet and just search your class name. You'd be surprised how often you can find study cards already made for classes you're in. Sometimes they can be a year or two old but it makes studying so much faster.
