We had Austin Jackson, Torii Hunter, Miggy Cabrera, Prince Fielder, Victor Martinez, Alex Avila, Johnny Perelta, Omar Infante, and Andy Dirks in our batting order
And then Justin Verlander, Anibal Sanchez, Max freaking Scherzer, Doug Fister, and Rick Porcello in our pitching rotation
Our closer was José Valverde who I WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE was the reason why we don't have a 5th Series win.
Funny how even when we were hot as f our bullpen was still a mess :')))

Sunny had died that summer though, in July, and I was with Ryan then… we weren't, like, in love then… we were still young'uns. But we were together nonetheless, and we'd been together for maybe a month or two at the time? Not sure.
Anyway, the Lions were doing great at that point in the football season, we'd later go on to make the playoffs… and it was the Red Wings preseason. That was year 22 of our playoff streak too.
Shit didn't go downhill until… wait, let me think. Ryan and I had just gotten together; we didn't break up until the next December (or maybe January? It was after Christmas.... Damn. We were apparently together longer than I'd thought. >.<)
So yeah around January I kinda got detached and then there was the whole thing in March that took me WAY downhill and… yeah… I'm rambling. I should probably go shower.
