So the annual hospital-unity fundraising 5K was today.
Had to get up at the crack of dawn, but eh. It was at the zoo, which was cool.
I walked 1K but had to put my pride aside and do the rest being pushed in a wheelchair. Last year I did more, but I had an attack last night so nope.
It's depressing. Like, really really depressing. I feel like our team keeps on getting smaller and smaller-- even though, this year we were lucky enough not to lose anyone.
I'm not stupid though. I know Lexy's going to be dead before next year's event. This is the fifth annual 5K, and since then we've lost 6 people on our team (not including Sunny, because even though he was a team member, he didn't die of sickness, it was a freak accident.)
I dunno. I'm going to age out of this soon. It's called the Children's Hospital for a reason. I'll still miss everyone. But then again, everyone could be dead by then.
