I’m five days clean today… I’m pretty proud of myself.
I won’t be online this weekend at all, as I’m headed out of town for a couple of days. I’m pretty excited. I’ll have my phone with me and I will have wifi, I just won’t have time to get online… but if you really, really need me, in the event of an absolute emergency, email me. I’ll be checking that at least once a day.
Four days of the 30-day blog challenge are below… one for yesterday because I forgot, one for today and two for this weekend. I’m putting them each in their own spoiler tag for organization’s sake. XD

Hmm. That went smoothly. I’ll be online for the rest of today and then I’ll blow my goodbye kisses before heading up north. One of the places we’re going has sharks. I’ll take pictures for you guys, don’t worry.

These things are amazing. They won Cupcake Wars.
I already know how this is going to end. I'm going to eat one, and then another, and then realize that I haven't really eaten anything in three days, so I'm going to eat another one, and then one more.
And then I'm going to regret it and get really mad at myself and shove two fingers down my throat in attempt to reduce the stomach pain that comes with 4 cupcakes.
Throw it up, then repeat. Till there's no more left.

I've always wanted that, actually.
I came closest to going two months ago... we were THISCLOSE to booking a trip when I got sick again. *mutters* Stupid lungs.
Long story short; I wasn't cleared by doctors to travel that far.
Here's something cool though: I actually have a shot at travelling somewhere I've wanted to go for a while.
Basically, Make A Wish is taking a kid from Detroit to Orlando on a medical airlift plane and my dad plans onpaying someone offpulling some strings to get me on that plane to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Awesome, right?
I've been to Disney before, but never to Universal Studios. So I'm kinda excited about that but not really because excitement almost always leads to disappointment but you know.

I really feel like going to Mackinac Island but I don't really have any friends to go with and I don't know how I feel about spending 4 and a half hours in the car with my family.
Day 14: Your earliest memory.
Jeez, this is going to be embarrassing.
Even as a three year old, I’ve always been very independent, and always managed to think that somehow, I could do anything on my own, no matter how ridiculous it really was.
So, this particular day, back in 2003, I remember sitting in the dining room, and if I’m remembering correctly, it was one of the first times I was actually allowed to sit on my own chair by myself. (The chairs in that room at the time were really high and, like, hand-carved out of Tibetan wood or something stupidly expensive like that, so they weren’t exactly fit for little kids). Anyway, I was feeling very empowered, so when my mother reached across to my dish to cut my grilled chicken up into small, baby-sized pieces, I was like, I can do this myself, I don’t need any help.
So I erratically grabbed the knife and swatted it to get her hand away so I could cut up my dinner myself.
Next thing I knew, there was blood everywhere and my mom’s sister came over to watch me while the ambulance took her away to the hospital. She had to get eight stitches and still has the scar. (Which she never fails to use against me when I’m being a brat.)
So, yeah. That was my earliest memory and also the story of how I stabbed my mother at the age of three.
