Hakan (hakan42) | 3 comments I am thinking about two applications which are quite different from each other, both in technology and use case. One would be an Android app (Java) to add GR-based events to the users calendar, the other a Calibre plugin written in Python.

Also, I would very much be able to continue using my "normal" account even if my app would be so wildly successful (yeah, right :-) ) that it breaks the API call limits.

What is the approach in this case for developer keys? As far as I can see, one account can hold only one key. Is it feasible / permitted to create a "developer" account per app?

Michael Economy (michaeleconomy) It's really more a question of branding i feel like. When you request api access on behalf of a user, it will show up in the request page. You should try and make it clear to the user who/what they're giving access to with your brand name.

You can only create one developer key per goodreads user account, so you'd need to register with an additional email address if you want another developer key.
