Continuing her investigation, Clare discovers the identity of the mysterious man in the black wet suit and flippers. Rather than a suspect he turns out to be a good guy who not only helps Clare uncover the truth but comes to her rescue.
Seems Clare was correct in her theory that David was the intended victim all along..Graydon Fass and Kenny are arrested for their parts in the scheme and it is theorized that they will plead out and testify against Bom Felloes who isn't so "bon" after all.

Does Clare remind anyone of Jessica Fletcher- poking her nose into police investigations and solving the case on her own; thereby making the police look like fools?

On a side note has anyone checked out the recipes in the back of the book?
