LOL! I don't believe the review dumping has been as bad the last few challenges, but it is frustrating, but I don't believe there is a really great answer to the problem :-) All we can do is keep reading and keep posting and keep doing the best we can! I'm just grateful we have a chatty team, makes a huge difference!
We were lucky the last challenge you could not dump.
@Gilllian Yeah, seeing all that's happening in the world but not here, hope is the only way. There are so many people living here and o much mouths to feed. The lack of bookstores seems to be the least of the government's worries lol!

All I really know about India is what I see on television or read in books, and you have a huge population, I can understand why feeding the people would take importance over bookstores, although I'm pretty sure our government doesn't care about bookstores either ;-)
My cousin married a man from India, he lives here now, I can't even begin to try to pronounce their last name. The wedding was beautiful though, and I love the traditional dresses they wear to weddings.
Gah my boyfriend and his two year old have done EVERYTHING in their power to distract me today. I thought, finally, two hours before bed I can read for two hours and get something done. I've read 8 freakin pages. This jerk put on some riveting medical show. >=[ Grrrr
lol How mean your boyfriend is I don't know how you stand for him doing things like that to you.
Those medical shows can suck you win, I finished a book but I will post the review tomorrow and I should finish another tomorrow as well :-) it is so hot here I don't have the energy to do much more than lounge around and read, although I should be cleaning :-(

I am a firm believer or that you should never read a book that you don't want to read, I mean reading is supposed to be fun, of course unless you were assigned it in class or something, but even then I wasn't best at that either ;-)
Oops Ginger, you're literally the backbone of our team, just dump the book you can't get into and read the ones that seem fun, like Berit said :)
Yeah, I'm going to put it aside for now, I want to finish it eventually because I would hate to leave a trilogy unfinished when I got through the first two books, but I won't risk a reading slump! Nope nope nope.
I'm so sad, I read three books, book one was 130 pages, book two was 194 pages, and book three was 191 pages :(I really wish if they were THAT close to 200, they'd round up lol. I'm just sad I get 3 points instead of 5. But I'm happy I actually read! I was worried for a bit there that I wouldn't be reading today, and I didn't really read the last two days. SO I'm pretty happy :)
Are you doing next month challenge? Because your Pages will all count then :-)It used to be you get the same amount of points for a 100 page book as you did for a 500 page book, I like this scoring system so much better :-)

This scoring system isn't bad but I wish if it was anywhere between 191-200 it would just be 2 points XD oh well.

I don't know, I think I'll just read whatever, and than use that for the page challenge, and see if any of the books I choose can fit into the other challenges. I don't want to stress to much, I gotta get these series finished.
I'm reading this book, and it's making me think way to much. What if I were blind? I don't know I have so many questions about what it would like to be blind.

Great Ginger! Glad that you're on track. I started this month a bit fast but now I'm moving a bit slow. And august is gonna be busy. Not going to risk much BRs and not prticipate in them. Y'all doin a serious team? I have signed up for solo., just to see hiw that feels :)
I am such a mood reader, so I planned BR for this entire month, so next month I won't have any buddy reads until last minute. I want to be able to pick up whatever.

This is awful, but I kind of want to read her other three series, My Blood Approves, The Watersong QUartet, and The Hollows just to see how they rate. lol

Ok but this "house of Night" series is actually pretty good to me! I am really enjoying them!
Ohhh house of night is good! I got stuck on book 3 because I couldn't find it anywhere 😭
It is also subjective, I love romance and tons of people hate it, but I love that happy ending! And I have a really hard time getting into a lot of fantasy, some is good, but there needs to be some romance in it :-)

LOL, its really not that bad, if you can get passed the immaturity of the teenagers. Im about to start book 5 and I am so hooked!!!
It doesn't bother me when a teenager talks like that, it bothers me when a 35-year-old talks like that :-)
Hmmm I have never read any of this series tell me is it the kind of mushy oh you are so beautiful crap I hate?
I haven't read it either, isn't it paranormal?
It is I just wanted to check they hadn't added a lot of the kind of romance I hate into the books.

@Rae We are doing great but I bet the other teams have members who like to post a lot toward the end its really frustrating when people do that and unfair on the mods.
