Are book extract part of a series?

The author Miamo Zesi has two book extracts (german: "Leseproben") listed. Each one is an extract of a book of one of her series. Should I add the extracts to the series they belong? Or should the extracts be deleted?

Libre, extracts are not combined with the full work and are not deleted if they've been published.

They are also not added to a series, as the full book is already there.
