I'm thinking of starting an online publishing magazine with a friend to help tackle this issue. Before I go on with that I need to know what are the top 3 things you would hope to achieve from publishing with such a company. Here are mine:

1)Exposure to a wider audience
2)Knowing what other authors are writing about
3)General feedback on stories

So far the solution I came up with was a series of flash fiction stories (500 to 5,000 words) in which people could quickly read through, rate and perhaps visit a link to the authors page or website.

I'd be interested. A writer group member who is an ace flash fiction writer inspired me to write short stuff.

Excellent. I'll reach out if things go through. Need to get some feedback about what readers are looking for. Any suggestions where to start? I'd like direct reader responses and not some analysis of trends.
