Many decades ago I wondered how Sherlock Holmes became the great detective. Ideas began to brew in my head and I began to expand them and do research.... The result was The Crack in the Lens. As I was putting the finishing touches on that book I began to contemplate what happened next. The Sherlock Holmes at the end of The Crack in the Lens was incomplete. He was not yet the man Watson would meet. The Consulting Detective was supposed to be the book to answer how Holmes changed in the interim. That book grew and grew until I knew it could be no less than a trilogy. The first book of the trilogy was about his university career, and how he over came the trauma in The Crack in the Lens. The Consulting Detective Trilogy Part I: University The second book in the trilogy, The Consulting Detective Trilogy Part II: On Stage follows his adventures as an actor on the Victorian stage.

Part III: Montague Street will cover the early detective career of Sherlock Holmes before he met Dr. Watson. I hope to have it out before the end of 2018.
I saw the ratings of your books and I must say that I am impressed. I have added your books to 'to read' section and will surely read them.

No no, I am talking about the ratings on your books on goodreads.

Avg 4.3 rating in 45 votes isnt bad.
