Looking for a contemporary mail order bride book. It's similar to Linda Howard's Duncans Bride but a bit different. Rancher advertises for a bride cause winters are really cold. Girl and friend are in town (no idea why) and she sees ad in local paper. Lady at diner tells her he is a great guy. He likes her but thinks it wouldn't work cause she's too citified.. Ring any bells?

I think i found it :D is it McCade's Way , he is tough, his first wife cheated and was bad to him , he doesn't trust women , a tough guy , cold, has a brother. Her friend comes to see her and stays with them and the brother shows interest in the friend later?....
