I think it was a bit of a letdown. It just didn't have the right kind of action (kissy kissy smoochy smoochy )
I hateee so much this book, I hate America and I HATEE ASPEN! the only one I liked was Maxon. omg, America is such a bitch, I dont even know why I finished this trilogy. Honestly the 99% of the time i was thinking America was a retarded and stupid and a bitch.
i think that you're definitely entitled to your opinion and i think that your position was really mature in how you went about it. there are a few points that i feel like i can speak to from my own opinion at least .
The way that Maxon learned about A&A? well i think that it was going to happen one way or another, and the letter being left out and the way that he's just aware of everything - well that was exactly how i saw it happening.
For Aspen to move on so quickly - i'm not sure if you read The Guard - but you can see the slow build there so it's not like he just flipped the switch over night. i feel like those feelings were a long time coming for him to move on and find someone and actually the way that it worked out with America's father and the folks that accompanied her home - well that was a natural progression to me.
As for the raid at the end - i expected something like that to happen, i just don't know that all the deaths were necessary. I mean - the queen didn't HAVE to die - she was about to get the daughter that she always wanted - and Celeste - well - we were finally liking her, but even she knew that she didn't have a future.
otherwise- i enjoyed the finale - i think that for the most part it stayed true to the story and what the integrity of the point of it was. I think that there was a bit of expectation on my part for further development to come with the rebels from either side, but i think that it's for another story - or a novella at least. there are so many new characters for us to read about that i wouldn't be surprised if we got more in the future

Good point about The Guard. I've completely forgotten about the novella so thanks for reminding me about it. Yep, moving on wasn't quick and easy for
