My greatest aspiration in life is to be that one guy that constantly wears shorts and sandals in frigid, uninhabitable temperatures and u wonder if he’s a bit unhinged///

I don’t understand. How can you say you stand by women then unironically call someone a slut or whore for how they dress or live without harming anyone and just be free? All because you want to feel superior.

Don’t you realize that words like that set us back even further into the world of casual sexism?

Regardless of whether you want to use the word feminist, I do think you can either stand by women or you stand against them. You either stand by human rights and justice or you’re complicit in the forces against them. And you’re not really standing by men either. The patriarchy might favor them a large part of the time but it hurts them as well. It’s the reason so few men are taken seriously when they’ve been abused, assaulted, trafficked, homeless and when they face injustice in family courts and they’re treated as less than worthy if they show weakness. If you pretend women are less valuable in society and men are, and MUST be stronger, men’s mistreatment misses the radar and they’ll risk even more shame if they want to speak up about it. If you’re going to say slut or whore or unmanly or wimpy please ask yourself why those words come to mind <3
