The first has a different isbn than the second one.
There are issues with the isbn on the first link (284305411 / 28430541122), only 9 and 11 digits, instead of 10 and 13, but different from the isbn on the other edition 2843057892 / 9782843057892

Author profiles in different languages should never be merged.
I've added a link on the Arabic profile to the Orhan Pamuk profile, and will check to make Orhan Pamuk primary author on all editions.

Please do not remove ISBNs and put on different book. Publishers do re use ISBNs

GR policy is to leave ISBN with first book added to GR which is the one you removed the ISBNs from

Sorry, this is was not what happened in this case, I checked with the Italian national library, the ISBN I removed never belonged to 'Il condominio' by Ballard, not such edition exist. The ISBN alwasy belonged to 'la ragazza di Charlotte street' by Wallance. A GR user for mysterious reasons switched them. Also the publication date coincided: I don't think a publisher would use the same ISBN number for two books and publish them the same day, I'm sure about the 'la ragazza di Charlotte street' being the right one because I own it.

Publishers do and have done things like that. It is against GR policy to move ISBNs.

Even if you think or know it's a mistake, Goodreads seldom allows moving ISBNs around. In any case, it is always best to ask for a second opinion in this group first before doing something which is generally against policy.

#919 The company Harper Collins Brasil publishes titles from Nova Fronteira, wich will continue to be published under that name.
