Short Sci-Fi story (5k words) rough draft. Need a beta for a quick turnaround

Hi,

I just finished my first draft of a short Sci-Fi story I'm working on. I'm looking for a critique on content and the writing itself. Grammar is not a must, though I will never complain on a little grammatical guidance.

I'd like to see turnaround in about a weeks time, but since my deadline has ben extended I can wait two if anybody needs more time.

Sorry about omitting that:

Arthur, a prior service computer specialist, is summoned to Earth's first planetary colony to investigate the disappearance of the colonies members. The situation quickly deteriorates as the circumstances behind the disappearance are discovered, but Arthur must fight to get the message out before another group of humans is lost.

Your plot sounds interesting, but I don't think that I would be the best Beta Reader for your story.

I actually won't be needing anymore betas for the rough draft after Jon. Once I get my edits and rewrite done I'll post another request for a group of "final" betas.
