Zodiac Challenge
This is a yearly challenge, set up to start at the beginning of the zodiac year (March 21). The challenge requires you to read only 1 book per zodiac month (although, you don’t have to limit yourself to just one) which equals 12 books for the year. Easy right? The challenge is to read each book within each of the signs dates. You need to start the book and complete it within the 29 to 32 days of each sign. It will take a shift in your timing as the zodiac month starts and end in the middle of the calendar months.
With each sign is listed the start and end dates of the sign that you need to keep in mind for reading your book, but you can also use it as the task example would be the book timeline falls within the dates of that sign's days. The ruling planet could be use as referring to the god or goddess associated with that planet in the story or if you should find the planet as part of the title, series, author's name (The Eyes of Laura Mars, or within one of the words like Moonbeam for the moon).The element and/or color for the sign can be used for the cover art or also a part of the title, series, or author's name. If there is a character within the book that has a strong trait of that month's sign, you can use that to complete that month's task. There is something general listed for each sign like Aries is the first sign and the beginning so you can decide to start a new series and complete the task by reading the first book of any series and Taurus has harvests the fruits of labor so a book that is about farming/harvesting (anything) or of about laboring (in any form) could be used. Last but not least, there is each sign's symbol, can be use for the cover art, in the text or as a character, part of the title, series or even author. That gives you seven to eight tasks to choose from in several various ways, more if you're creative.
Please list Title, Author, Dates read, and the task you used and how you used it to complete the task. Be that a cover, character trait, title, series, author, or storyline.
If you're unable to start on March 21 you can start at any time if you so desire but you'll need to begin at the begin of the next available sign dates then work your way through all 12 signs.
