James Lee Burke (Love me some Dave Robicheaux!) describes people like that as "always having spaghetti hanging off the edge of the plate."

My next five will help with a specific challenge:

My next five:

Since I'm no longer 12 books behind in this this challenge (more like 8, ugh), I shall return the favor. I'm choosing

Okay, so it was short, but it was a heck of a ride. It was part of Amazon's Forward series which were all set in near- or distant-future ideas. Definitely worth the read.

Jennifer, I am choosing

My next five:

The Girl in the Corner by Amanda Prowse - 7/15/20 ♥♥♥♥

Any of my next five with help me make some progress with a long-running challenge:

Connie, I wasn't going to do this yet but then I noticed you have

My next five:

Oh please, as if anyone even thought I’d try to resist. Lolol!

Get it?! Hint: The Rhyme of the Magpie"
Good one!!!!

I groaned out loud at this one LOL
I've enjoyed everything I've read by that author too. I was going to mention her First Edition Library series, but was afraid Jennifer would come after me with a wet noodle, so I won't :)

Managed to read Give Me Yesterday and I have to say I really enjoyed it. There were plenty of twists and turns and there was this one major plot twist that had me going "Oh my God!" a few times. Thanks for suggesting such a fantastic book, Barb :)

Jennifer I choose Dreaming In Chocolate. There's something about the title that just stuck out to me.
Once again these five are from my TBR list and I'll read the chosen book this month:

My next five are all..."
Connie, I choose The Unyielding Bachelor because, well...if he was in front of me I'd lick his abs lol.
Since I'm reading sci-fi, I want a change of pace. My next five are:

Can I use the same 4 with a new one added when I next post or does it have to be 5 different covers every time?

Any five, whether you’ve posted them here before or not, and you don’t have to finish your previous picks before picking/posting again. I’m currently behind by 8, down from 12! Lol

Join the club, Kay! (And, thanks, for the pick!)

Cowboy Stole My Heart by Soraya M. Lane - 9/10/20 ♥♥♥♥

My next five

I'm going with all pastels this time:

For any other Rachel Caine fans out there, I heard the other day that she has entered hospice care, and her doctors are not optimistic. That's not good news for those of us who enjoy her books :(
The Lost Apothecary, by Sarah Penner, finished 9/12 ★★★★
Paper and Fire (Great Library #2), by Rachel Caine, finished 9/16 ★★★.5

My next five :

The Lake Season by Hannah McKinnon - 10/18/20 ♥♥♥

Click on "add book/author" at the top right of a new post. Then type in the title and hit search. At the bottom right, you'll see a choice between "link" and "cover."

Thank you!

The Unyielding Bachelor by Miranda P. Charles - 10/31/20 ♥♥♥

I'll admit that the cover is better than the content. But all the "U" titles for this series keep me coming back to them.

I'm going to post some holiday books in the hopes that someone will make my choice for me--I can't make up my mind what to start with!

Limelight (Penny Green #1), by Emily Organ, finished 11/10 ★★★
