Hi guys! We're happy to present... The first contest of this group so far. Yay!

So, the idea for this first contest is that it will be a short story based on thee book (or movie) The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. You can write a plot twist to the book, a continuation of it or simply a story inspired by or having something to do with The Fault In Our Stars.

The Contest will begin today, June 13, 2014, and end at midnight on June 30th. The mods will read and judge the stories, and have a poll on the "top three" that we select. However a mod can participate, if they want, as long as they don't vote for their own story.

There only requirements for this contest are that your story be a minimum of 500 words (which is roughly a page). I hope you all stretch a little beyond that, lolz. There is no real, solid maximum, but don't write a novel, as this is a short story competition. Also, make sure your story is based off The Fault in Ours Stars. Other than that, just have fun and be creative! Your stories will most likely be judged on creativity, writing style as well as message/emotion of the story.

If you want to participate, please either PM one of mods, or just comment your name below. To submit your story you have several options. You can PM it directly to one of the mods, or send them a link to any other sort of document, like a google doc, a goodreads story or a wattpad soty etc. I will also create a folder for the competition, and you are welcome to create a thread with your name and story title for that folder.

Can we use ideas from others?? Me and my friend were talking about plot twists and she had some good ideas so does that count? Also, kinda stupid, what is PM?

Hey do I count as one of the judges? Because I'm technically a mod, although you and Joya just sort of made me one without me really knowing what to do :) I would also like to participate, although I don't know if I'll have the time so we'll see.
