@Kaina I can actually see what you're saying about Aedion and Celeana. It would be a weird twist but not out of the question because as you said it is sort of foreshadowed and SJM doesn't say things just because so i can definitely see the issue at least coming up.
I beIieve aedion and celaena are siblings. I believe evalin had uhum relations with gavriel when in mistward and might have had aedion as a result. She gave him to her cousin or sister (cant remember) because you know court image and stuff. Because it is constantly mentioned about how aedion is aelin's twin. When manon met aelin she immediatly asked aelin if aedion was her brother. With super smell shouldnt manon have known they werent siblings? Also, why was aedion around the castle so much as a child if he was an ashryver and not a galathynius?It just doesnt add up to me
Aelin is an Ashryver because of her mom, Evalin, and she's also Galathynius because of her father, Rhoe. If I remember correctly, Aedion's mom is Evalin's sister or cousin, so she is an Ashryver. Aedion's father is Gavriel. Aedion was around the castle so much because Evalin was trusted with caring for him when his mom died. They have different parents so they can't be siblings, only cousins.Please correct me if this info is inaccurate.

That is the story we are told. Elena lied about a lot of things. I am just saying this as a theory, I am not proclaiming that they have to be siblings. As a theory, it isn't wrong or right until proven by canon. At this point, both Aelin and Aedion believe they are cousins and everyone who could possibly know otherwise besides gavriel is dead. therefore it makes sense that if the story is told from their perspective they would believe what they are saying. It is possible that they are wrong.
Aelin and Aedion smell alike because they carry the same Ashrivier blood. Evalin and his sister or cousin (we don´t know yet) were really close, that´s why the girl trusted Evalin to rise Aedion when she died. (Also because Terrasen was the hell apart of Doranelle) If Evalin knew... Rhoe knew. By the way:
1.- Not to say that Rhoe would have been a total asshole, but I seriously doubt that he would have let the supposed "not recognized son of his wife" live in the castle with their girl if that would have brought suspicions and troubles for the Terrasen court. You know, royal´s modals, manners, plot, etc.
Has anyone tried the Rowan book boyfriend soap? I'm thinking of getting the some ToG series bookmarks from this Etsy shop called Behindthepages. They also have soap scented like book boyfriends like Rhysand, Rowan and the Darkling. I know it's supposed to smell like pine and snow which sounds AWESOME! Please let me know if any of you guys have tried it.

In QoS Rowan asked Aelin that their mothers are cousins, they are actually cousins (Aelin's and Aedion's mothers). Because he smelled the similarities between Aelin and Aedion, also between Gabriel and Aedion so he wanted to confirm it. P.S. I think Aedion's mother send him to her cousin because she didn't trust the other Ashryvers sense they are close influenced by Maeve.
Please correct me if am wrong.
Yeah, so Aelin and Aedion are... first cousins? Second? I don't really have any idea how that works. BUT I do think it's a clear warning that they're not going to get together.

No problem! Also I think that they are pretty reasonably priced
You can also make cool bookmarks by folding a piece of printer paper in half hamburger style and then in half the other way twice. You then can draw your design or glue a pic on both sides. Then seal it with packaging tape, making sure the tape goes farther then the paper and you can trim the edges with scissors. If your careful this can turn into a really clean and pretty bookmark. I like to do one for each of my favorite books :)

I loved Rowan in Heir of Fire, but after reading Queen of Shadows I adore him! I'm completely convinced Maas has been planning Rowan+Aelin from the beginning <3 ACOMAF spoilers --> (view spoiler)
I'm reading heir of fire and right now I don't like Rowan. He's getting better but I would never forgive his attitude toward Aelin. She was depressed and sad and She was feelings awful and he was being really rude with her. Now He's changing but Rowan in the beginning of HoF was absolutely disgusting to me. I really hope he will change and maybe in the future I would like him but I don't know

So. Rowan and Aelin are still carranam. Now. When they yield power to each other, each is still using his/her own kind; but if they COMBINE their powers together, it makes moonfire? Is that correct?
And then if a Wyrdkey is used in the right way with Aelin's magic it makes shadowfire?
Does anyone know Maas personally so I can ask her flat out and not have to do all the research on that?

Ooh I agree. I actually was feeling excited for Rowaelin in QoS but was a little ummmmed by his moodswings. It was still good because it was the kind of romantic love when you know the person inside out. But EoS destroyed all hopes and/or dreams.

That would be DeannaThe moonfire would make sense since she's also the moon goddess. Coincidental then that she uses ice + fire to make moonfire? Or maybe like you said she doesn't have to, and that is already one of her 'divine powers'. The book seemed to imply that Deanna wanted to see what she could do with Aelin's [and Rowan's] powers. ⁻\_(ツ)_/⁻
So...just looked up the meaning of the name Rowan, just to see if my hunch about SJM having a preference for often using Celtic names was true, and indeed, Rowan is Irish, and/or Nordic. And it means "red;" 'tree with red berries;" or even "mountain ash"

L see where your going w that guy def the eyebrows scream fae. His build is just too skinny for my imagination. I picture both Rowan and Aedion to have more bulk. But he is a fine specimen

Also moonfore is just what was created when Aelin was posessed by Deanna. Deanna using any fire wielder's power makes moonfire. I guess because she was kind of like the Artemis of Throne of Glass.
