You know, from the very first time we were introduced to Rowan in HoF, I knew he was gonna be amazing. I just DID! He was sexy and mysterious and badass, and Celaena felt like she had to prove her worth to him. CELAENA needed to prove herself.

Ohhh!!! You know, when I read about Rowan all I see is a clever, cold and badass guy... But there are those hints... That show that my damn hot warrior is sooo sweet and protector and more than anything, a gentleman (gentlefae kinda suits better) oww!!!! However, someway, I just can't picture him flirting... (no idea how the hell did he do to makes Lyria fell in love with him instead of terrifying her) For me it would have been enough with the hot muscles but... Hell I'm curious... I can't picture him saying sth romantic!

I am still reading Queen of Shadows, and I feel that Rowan and Celaena will end up together... Maybe not in this book, but the next book. Maas will extend their romance. Celaena and Aedion are not an option for romance... They are blood related. I'm sure Aedion will find someone special:) I have no idea what is going on with Chaol. What does he want out of life besides serving Dorian. He needs to take his own throne if he wants to see change in his world.

Both Gavriel and Lorcan are older than he him but he is considered to be the best, at least in public opinion
Gabriel and Lorcan are older than Rowan? I totally missed that. I thought the cadre were all in similar age range.

As far as I can recall, Rowan is supposed to be around 300?Lorcan is more than 500 years old, as stated in QoS.
HoF says Gavriel is around 400.

Rowan would win the fight w arobynn. As for how old all the cadre is I know Locern is the oldest but I don't remember any hints in age of the others
I'm kind of confused about who's the most powerful, because in Queen of Shadows, it said that Rowan was the most powerful full-blooded Fae male in existence but then it said that Lorcan was more powerful than him, but why is that if Lorcan is only Demi Fae?
I will have to reread this series and take notes. Isn't Celaena a demi-fae as well? And she has tremendous powers.
Yeah this whole concept is very confusing. Is Aelin, a Demi-Fae, more powerful then Maeve, a full blood Fae queen? And then there's Dorian, who isn't even Fae, (right?) and he has like, infinite raw power it said. Even Rowan said he'd never seen anything like it. What is up with that?

Yeah I think you're right Megan. I think it said that Rowan wouldn't be able to beat Lorcan without magic, like just in a physical fight bc Lorcan is older and has more experience.
FACT:I just finished re reading QoS and it said Lorcern is a bastard. FACT:He's way older than Rowan which gives him years of experience AND as a bastard he grew up unloved and on the streets.
So I think he's full fae, probably descended from one of the high fae, I doubt Maeve would allow him to work for her unless he had some really extraordinary powers as a demifae. Although maybe he isn't because we he doesnt seem to have animal form. He's such a mystery. I want to know who Gavaril is descended from that gives him the kitty cat form.
Anyway Lorcern is a street rat. I do hope Maeve doesn't kill him because he's a character that would really use some good old love and redemption.
@Leyla. Thanks for sparking my memory. I remember Luca and Emry talking about demi-fae now. @Jess S. I love what you said about Lorcan needing some love and redemption:) Maybe that is why Lorcan is so devoted to Maeve? She took him in when he had no one else?
I think he has a crush on her. But I really hope that he could find love soon. Perhaps Elide?
