Nice! I never realized that! There's also that part where Rowan's "kitty-cat-friend" asks Celaena her age and when she tells him, he looks at Rowan and says "Good luck."
I know that could just be him trying to express how she is so young compared to them...but it also kind of seemed like he was hinting at more.

I totally agree with you. Plus, theres also the fact that we get a minimal amount of chapters in his point of view which could be done intentionally on the authors part to hide something (*cough*HIS FEELINGS *cough*)
After celaena told him about a "decent enough kitty-cat friend", it seems to be that is hard for Rowan looking at Gavriel in a friendship way. And the omm curiosity??? Gavriel shows about Aelin clearly disgust Rowan. I was thinking that may be, what really bother Rowan is that Gavriel someway suspects the feelings between Rowan and Aelin. He could realize that the girl was very important for his friend... May be more that Rowan could admit!
I've said it before, but I think that Gavriel will be ensuring and supporting Rowan about his (hopefully) romantic feelings for Aelin. Also, may be Gavriel will follow rowan to Adarlan, that's would be great!
There are just so many possibilities. Rowan is such a complex character, and we've just gotten to know him, I can't wait to see where this goes.
Personally I really want him to meet Chaol...just to see what happens

Ooh the Rowlin love just keeps growing =]] Love all the new theories being brought up. Noris great point you brought up about Rowan saying Aelin's name rather than friend! For the scene, I think saying friend would have had less impact, but it is interesting to think about. After all, we've had very little of Rowan's POV and as someone pointed out, that could have been intentional.
I'm assuming we will get more on him in the 4th book since we need updates on Wendlyn. There is always a possibility that might come from Elide too.

Elide hasn't been officially introduced yet. We've only heard about her through Aedion and Aelin's stories in HoF. She's the daughter of Lady Marion and Lord Cal, both of whom are dead. She was described as being very quiet with dark black hair. Elide appears a lot in Sarah's pinterest so we know she'll be making an appearance very soon.
Yes! Also, there're too much about rowan's cadre... (Great, all of them are too hot and too interesting) but I don't know if I must feel happy or worried about it... They're still under Meave's control... What if they wanna make Rowan feels miserable? I have the feeling that Lorcan and fenrys will be such a pain in the ass for Rowan
I don't think it will be easy at all for them while being under Maeve's control, but it seems Lorcan is going to play a very pivotal role in the books to come. I'm just very curious about his demi-fae background. Somehow it seems Gavriel and Ansel are going to come into contact. Imagine if it's because they become bonded! Or Gavriel was released and chose to serve her. The big cat could also be the transformation of a different character.
Exactly! I think the same about Lorcan and Gavriel. It could be good right? He and Ansel... And Rowan with Aelin... In the book it is said that Meave crearly dislikes demifae... So, is weird and interesting that Lorcan is her main warrior... Why??? Does he have a unique quality or magic or may be both?

Rowan totally reminds me of Legolas, the older version, from the new Hobbit movies. Or maybe even a toned down version of Legolas's father...

Even though I ship Rowan with Aelin, I would honestly be okay if they just stayed super close friends. Cause just imagine (if) She dies, Rowan would be the protector of her offsprings and her court. Forever.

@beth hasn't she only slept with Chaol? She never did so with Sam or Dorian and isnt in love with Rowan
She did definatly sleep with Dorian and i thought she did wth sam

Rowan is probably my favorite character. At the beginning all I wanted to do was kill him, and by the end I have completely fallen in love with him. Although I ship Celaena and and Chaol together like crazy, I would not be that disappointed if they became a thing. His whole past is terribly sad though. The moment whenever he finds out about her being slave was just...ugh.

I'm pretty sure SJM said in an interview that Queen of Shadows is going to have quite a few Rowan POV chapters in it.
I see some fans want a Brotp from Aelin and Rowan, but my question is, why? if I found the cutest guy in the world that understand me better than I, why could I chose him as a friend/brotherr? I mean, why I wouldn't want him in my life? ... we chose the love that we think we deserve, and holy craps I deserve a prince sexy Rowan that loves me more than everything and stands with me in my life. Ever since the introduction of the enthralling Rowan Whitethorn in the recent Heir of Fire (third Throne of Glass installment), I did some research on his role in the original Queen of Glass story that was published on Fiction Press.Rowan was originally named Raonn Whitehorn. Sarah J. Maas renamed him so that readers would have an easier time with pronouncing his name. Even back then, he was popular among the fans. :)
