WG was one of my recommendations, as well, but I neglected to specifically recommend the audio. The audio of it is seconded for the recommendation! :-)
I could say the same for Ready Player One. Specifically recommend the audio.

I don't anticipate loving it, but it's been on my TBR for years, it's over 500 pages, fits the tag and completes one of my PopSugar challenges - so one book fulfills 4 of my challenges. That's a win for me. Absolutely zero plans to watch the movie.

Don't worry, you're not the only one who has never read it. I've never read it either.

Beautiful Creatures
Fits the tag, plus my TBR challenge as well as a PopSugar category.

I really liked Beautiful Creatures. Still haven't gotten around to reading the 2nd one, though.

I have a long list of options but these are the ones at the top of the list:
Every Heart a Doorway
All the Birds in the Sky
Dandelion Wine
Five Quarters of the Orange
The Girl With All the Gifts: Extended Free PreviewI Capture the Castle

Don't worr..."
Good to know, Kim :) It's not required reading at school here in Italy, so that's probably one of the reasons why I didn't get to it so far.

I also highly recommend
Tell the Wolves I'm Home
The Book Thief
The Secret Life o..."</i>
[book:Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt! I've seen it pop up a few times before so I'm excited! I think I'll give it a go!
I've finally got my list of 25 down to 2! Now all I've got to decide on is which one - Eleanor & Park or The Autobiography of Malcolm X! Either of these will fit two of my other challenges as well.

A Wild Thing by Jean Renvoize
An oldie but goodie, and quite unusual. Probably out of print and hard to find, but worth it. I've read it quite a few times and it haunts me every time.
I plan to read:
- Before I Fall
- Daughter of the Drunk at the Bar
- The Museum of Extraordinary Things
- The Virgin in the Garden

I'm going to read The Interestings, and also in the list are Atonement, Love Walke..."
I liked The Interestings a lot. May have loved it.
Oranges is great as well

that is quite a difference! Haha. Malcolm X is fantastic

I'd like to find something on the Rory Gilmore list to read.
Old Schoolfits!
Special Topics in Calamity Physics is an option
Recs:
WGWG audio is a no brainer
Norwegian Wood
Black Swan Green (my first Mitchell, and I loved it)
Franny and Zooey
Ellen Foster
Behind the Scenes at the Museum (I might do the audio of this as a re-read)
Just Kids

True Grit--Charles Portis
Coal Black Horse--Robert Olmstead
Empire of the Sun--J.G. Ballard
The Round House--Louise Erdrich
The Last Picture Show--Larry McMurtry
In One Person--John Irving
I will pursue:
The Power of One--Bryce Courtenay
Behind the Scenes at the Museum--Kate Atkinson
A Complicated Kindness--Miriam Toews
Fugitive Pieces--Anne Michaels

I just acquired that at Goodwill. Would love to see your response. Probably should read This Boy's Life first. Love all your recommendations, and I picked the Atkinson.

I recently read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and enjoyed it. Little Women was also very good and I highly recommend it.
I'm going to read Anne of Green Gables. Just picked it up at a library sale this month, so good timing! If I have time, I'd like to also read The Graveyard Book. It looks very interesting and would also go towards the High Notes challenge for me.

All great choices as far as I'm concerned. By coincidence I reviewed Anne of Green Gables recently. Coming of age appeals to me as a theme as I have always been entranced with development and transformation (And I had a 20 year career in studying brain development and plasticity). I applied the tag to about 240 books on my GR shelves. I need to read Little Women, which gender tracking kept me away from (I might have been reading instead Heinlein's Space Cadet or Panshin's Podkayne of Mars). It's great you added Harry Potter, and there are more fantasy books about growing up worth catching up on (like the Pullman series).
Do you notice how few memoirs are among the choices for the June tag? Born a Crime and Old School are there. I could add The Road from Coorain, Growing Up, and West with the Night to the list as especially wonderful.

A lot of my favourite books are in this category, so I recommend a bunch of them. Ender's Game is wonderful, and Bridge to Terabithia is a lovely short read. A Wrinkle in Time is also marvelous. I'll actually read it too if I have time, since I haven't read it in a while. The Goldfinch is also great for those who have the time for a big book. And probably half of Stephen King's book are about coming of age (horrifically or otherwise), so if he's your cup of tea you can't go wrong. The novella Apt Pupil (from Different Seasons) is probably my favourite (both in the genre and in his bibliography as a whole).

All the Light We Cannot See is my #1 choice
To Kill a Mockingbird
Little Women
As much as I loved My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry, I just don't think 7 year olds come of age, and there are a couple of other books where the protagonists are already of age.
As for what I'm going to read, I have yet to decide.

YES! Loved it.

The Power of One--Bryce Courtenay
Behind the Scenes at the Museum--Kate Atkinson
A Complicated Kindness--Miriam Toews
Fugitive Pieces--Anne Michaels

The Power of One was fabulous! Caution, there are two versions, be sure you don't have the YA (young adult) version because it leaves off a lot of the last part - probably a 1/3rd of the book.

I'm going to read The Scorpio Races.
And I'm going to look for Will Grayson, Will Grayson on audio, per Nicole D's suggestion.
My recommendations that I don't think have been recommended yet:
Moloka'i
I Capture the Castle

More classic coming of age books with high stars from me: Poisonwood Bible, My Antonia, Rubyfruit Jungle, Adventures of Augie March, David Copperfield.

I found Moloka'i to be a deeply moving story, and I Capture the Castle is charming.
Crow Lake looks really interesting, I'm going to add it to my list. And I'd love to read Stand By Me. I enjoyed the movie, but haven't read the book.
My Antonia was a great read! I've very much enjoyed everything I've read by Willa Cather.

Crow Lake is marvelous!

My recommendations:
A Monster Calls
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian
Tell the Wolves I'm Home
Marcelo in the Real World
Mister Pip
Books I will definitely get to because I already have it:
The Hate U Give
The Sun Is Also a Star
Commonwealth
