      Yes, but Izzy knew that Cordie needed more than what she was getting from her therapist. Stevie had a lot going on in her life. Recovering from a life threatening injury and denying that all was not well with Cordie.
    
      I think Izzy should have tried to have the discussion with Stevie, since they shared a house. Cordelia was in a fragile place, and perhaps her mother might have been able to learn and accept that eariler.
    
      Stevie was all about "everything is Okay, everything will be normal again" she just didn't want to see that what happened deeply affected her daughter and it deeply affected Stevie too.
    
        
      I understood Izzy's decision, given Stevie's stubbornness and overall cluelessness with respect to her daughter. That said, she should have fessed up after the child began thriving. Cordelia would have then spoken for herself. Stevie had a right to be upset but she also needed to pay attention to why her sister felt the need to hide it.
